After joining the Judge Court of Rajshahi, he left Kushtia and started living permanently in Ghoramara of Rajshahi city. He passed the entrance examination from Rajshahi Collegiate School in 1978 with the first division. In 1880, he passed FA with the first division from Rajshahi College. In 1883, he passed BA from Presidency College, Kolkata, then he passed BL from Rajshahi College in 1885. Then he joined the Rajshahi Court as a lawyer. He established a Silk Industry School in Rajshahi. He was also associated for a long time as the Commissioner of Rajshahi Municipality. He passed away on February 10, 1930, at his home in Rajshahi.
