About Kaliprasanna Bandyopadhyay
Kaliprasanna was born in 1842 (in the year 1249 Bengali) in a building in Ahiritola, Kolkata. His father’s name was Ramdhan Bandyopadhyay. Literary Work

The famous landlord of Calcutta, Maharaj Sir, Jatindra Mohan Tagore and his younger brother Raja Sourindra Mohan Tagore, came to know about Kaliprasanna’s qualities and fame in music and became very fond of him.
