Translating the holy scripture Quran into Bengali.
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, who has declared in His Holy Qur’an that “if a bright light has come to you and a clear Book”.
A special effort to translate religious texts of the Qur’an into Bengali and make them available to Bengali speakers. So that all the people of the world, people of different languages, can read and understand this scripture in their own language.
Dr. Abu Bakr Mohammad Zakaria has translated the Holy Quran into Bengali and given a short commentary. No matter how skillful the translation of the original Qur’an may be, it is not able to fully comprehend the meaning of the Umayyad message of Allah. Because translation is just an attempt to understand the Qur’an with the intellectual power of the translator. It is not strange that human error is an imperfection. However, every effort has been made to translate by ignoring the error as much as possible. Therefore, the publisher’s request to the esteemed readers is to inform the ‘King Fahad Quran Printing Complex’ without any hesitation if any errors, imperfections or additional issues are required, so that the next printing can be corrected. Recording is an important means of preserving any commentary. Because there is a possibility of forgetting what is not written down. And since Al-Quranul Kareem has been sent down for the guidance of the creation till the Day of Resurrection, it was necessary to record it.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took special care and importance in transcribing the Holy Qur’aan. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to instruct some of his Companions who knew how to write to write down the Qur’aan and appointed them as writers of revelation. The most famous of them was Zayd ibn Thabit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him).
With the spread of Islam, Muslims felt the need to recite the Qur’an. Some of the Companions advised the Caliph Rashed Islam ibn Afan (may Allah be pleased with him) to gather people in a ‘Mushaf Imam’ or chief Mushaf, following which people would recite the religious book Qur’an.
The Qur’an begins with Surah Al-Fatihah and ends with Surah An-Nas. And it contains a total of 114 suras. At present the Qur’an is divided into 30 paras or juj. Each of which is divided into two parts. Then each job is divided into four rubs. Most of this division is ijtihat or research by scholars for the purpose of making it easier for Muslims to read the Qur’an. Interpret according to the meanings that Al-Quranul Kareem has given in general and the Sunnah of the Prophet has clarified the meaning of these verses.
Must have knowledge of Arabic grammar such as word demand, sentence structure and usage and usage differences etc. because Al-Quranul Kareem has been revealed in Arabic language. And he has to understand that language by following the rules and procedures.
When interpreting the verses of the Qur’an concerning the universe, take the help of only the proven practical theories of science. In no way can the idea of the shape of scientific doctrine be included in the commentary of the Qur’an. Because, by doing so, something may enter the meaning of Al-Quranul Kareem which is not supported by the Qur’an. Beware of any misinterpretation of the meaning of the words of God the Almighty which deviates from the real rules and regulations of the Holy Shari’ah and deviates from the grammar in Arabic.
