Syed Mustafa Siraj is a popular writer of Bengali literature. He is known as a deep biographer, a poet, a singer. He was contemporary of Atin Bandyopadhyay, Sunil Gangopadhyay, Prafulla Roy, Shyamal Gangopadhyay, Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, and novelist, while he was brilliant in the talent.
In the sixties, Bengali writer Syad Mustafa Siraj came up with many new authors. Siraj had brought about the life experiences of the lives of the marginalized people of Bengal, and he created the favorite colonel of small children.
This author was born in October 1930 in Khoshbag village of Murshidabad district. In his student life he was associated with leftist politics.
