Hate bazare story book written by Balai Chand Mukhopadhyay. He was born in Manihari village of purnia district now as katihar district of Bihar State on 19 July 1899. His father Satya Charan Mukhopadhyay was a doctor and his mother was Mrinalini Devi. He got into the medical profession and lived outside of Bengal on the most part of his life.
He wrote many novels, short stories and some collection stories with his pen name ‘Bonophul’. He wrote thousands of poems and 600 short stories, 60 novels and 5 dramas and also some one act plays. He wrote an autobiography called paschatpat and numerous essays. He was a recipient of the civilian owner of the Padma bhushan. He has huge literary work.
