Author Profile: Poet Khushi Sarkar was born on 15th August 1965 in Parergram under Itahar Police Station of Uttar Dinajpur District. The present residence is in Raiganj town, the headquarters of Uttar Dinajpur district. The author holds a BA degree with Honors in Bangla from Raiganj College. Poet Khushi Sarkar passed MA in Bengali with distinction from North Bengal University in 1992. She then took B Ed training from Raiganj B Ed College in 1994. Earlier, he passed MA and in the same year she taught at Raiganj University College (PT) for a long time. Then in 1996 she was appointed as a teacher of Bangla department in Dudhanda Aloktirtha Vidyapeeth under Hemtabad police station of this district. As well as being employed as a teacher, she is also involved in writing. She has written many short stories, poems and essays and her writings have been published in various journals and she has been honored with Sahitya Ratna and many more. Her first book of poetry, Nana Ranger Dinguli (Days of Color), was published in 2020. In the meantime, she is preparing to publish two or three more books of poetry and stories.
