Madhusudan Dutta Birth and Childhood:
He was born on 25th January 1824 in Sagardari village of Jessore district. Father Raj Narayan Dutta acquired special skills in Persian as per the custom of the time. He established and earned great wealth as the chief civil court judge in Calcutta.
Poet Madhusudan Dutta was 7 years old when he brought his family to Calcutta, buying a two-storey house on the main road in Khidirpur.
